Install

Add Vexorx
to any site.

One script tag, added once to the site your client reviews. Visitors see nothing and download <1 kB; the review panel opens only for a client who arrives from their review link.

How it works

  1. 1

    Copy your snippet

    In Vexorx, open the project and go to Install. The snippet there already carries the project’s token.

  2. 2

    Add it to the reviewed site

    Add it once, on every page of the address your client reviews, for example the staging site.

  3. 3

    Open a review link

    Invite yourself as a reviewer and open the site from the link. The panel appears, and Install shows when the snippet was last used.

The snippet. Your project’s token replaces YOUR_TOKEN.
<script src="https://cdn.vexorx.com/widget.js" data-token="YOUR_TOKEN" async></script>

Frameworks

Tested on live production builds

Next.js

  1. Open the root layout, app/layout.tsx (Pages Router: pages/_app.tsx).
  2. Add the script with next/script inside <body>.
app/layout.tsx
import Script from 'next/script'

// inside <body>, after {children}
<Script
  src="https://cdn.vexorx.com/widget.js"
  data-token="YOUR_TOKEN"
  strategy="afterInteractive"
/>

Nuxt

  1. Add the script to app.head in nuxt.config.ts.
nuxt.config.ts
export default defineNuxtConfig({
  app: {
    head: {
      script: [
        { src: 'https://cdn.vexorx.com/widget.js', 'data-token': 'YOUR_TOKEN', async: true },
      ],
    },
  },
})

SvelteKit

  1. Paste the snippet into src/app.html, inside <head> after %sveltekit.head%.

Astro

  1. Paste the snippet into the <head> of your base layout and add is:inline, so Astro leaves the tag as it is.
  2. It also works with view transitions (<ClientRouter />).
src/layouts/Layout.astro
<script is:inline src="https://cdn.vexorx.com/widget.js" data-token="YOUR_TOKEN" async></script>

Angular

  1. Paste the snippet into src/index.html, inside <head>.

React Router

  1. Framework mode and Remix: add the tag inside <head> of the Layout in app/root.tsx.
app/root.tsx
<head>
  <Meta />
  <Links />
  <script src="https://cdn.vexorx.com/widget.js" data-token="YOUR_TOKEN" async />
</head>

React

  1. Vite: paste the snippet into index.html in the project root, inside <head>.
  2. Create React App: public/index.html.

Vue

  1. Vite: paste the snippet into index.html in the project root, inside <head>.

HTML

  1. Paste the snippet into the <head> of every page, or once into the shared header template (for example header.php).

Website builders

Site settings → Custom code

Webflow

  1. Open Site settings → Custom code.
  2. Paste the snippet into Head code and save.
  3. Publish the site.

Custom code needs a paid Site plan or a paid Workspace plan. It runs on the published site, not in the Designer.

Framer

  1. Open Site Settings → General → Custom Code.
  2. Paste the snippet into End of <head> tag.
  3. Publish the site.

Custom code needs a paid site plan. It runs on the published site, not in the editor preview.

Wix

  1. In the dashboard, open Settings → Custom Code and click Add Custom Code.
  2. Paste the snippet, choose All pages and place it in Head.
  3. Apply and publish.

Custom code needs a Premium plan and a connected domain.

Squarespace

  1. Open Settings → Advanced → Code Injection.
  2. Paste the snippet into Header and save.

Code Injection needs the Core plan or higher (or a legacy Business or Commerce plan); it is also available during the free trial.

Stores and CMS

Theme head or code injection

Shopify

  1. Open Online Store → Themes, then … → Edit code on your theme.
  2. Open layout/theme.liquid and paste the snippet just before </head>.
  3. Save.

The snippet belongs to the theme: if you switch themes, add it to the new one too.

WooCommerce

  1. WooCommerce runs on WordPress: add the snippet the same way as for WordPress below.

WordPress

  1. Install a header and footer plugin, for example WPCode.
  2. Open Code Snippets → Header & Footer, paste the snippet into Header and save.
  3. Or, with a child theme, paste it before </head> in header.php.

On WordPress.com, adding code to the header needs the Business plan or higher.

Ghost

  1. Open Settings → Code injection.
  2. Paste the snippet into Site header and save.

If the panel doesn’t appear

The site was opened directly
The panel appears only for someone who opens the site from a review link. Typing the address shows nothing, by design.
The snippet is on a different address
Install it on the preview address of the version under review. Staging and live, or www and no www, are different sites.
The change is not published
Website builders run custom code only on the published site, not in the editor or its preview.
A Content Security Policy blocks it
Allow https://cdn.vexorx.com in script-src, and https://ogucmutcoangxcmzwdop.supabase.co in connect-src and img-src.
